The New South Wales Tertiary Student Rugby League (NSWTSRL) has officially opened applications for the 2008 NSW Students representative team and is inviting any current Rugby League players who attend University, TAFE or any other Tertiary institute to register.
The team, which is an officially recognised NSW representative side, will trial on April 6 at a venue in Sydney before taking on the Queensland Students side in an inter-state encounter on Friday May 2.
From that instate clash, an Australian Students side will be selected to take part in the 2008 Tertiary Student Rugby League World Cup which will play in Brisbane from July 4 – 16.
Players from any competition within NSW are eligible for the side provided they are completing at least 8 hrs worth of tertiary education each week.
