The Arnold Stehr Tertiary Nines is the current pre-season tournament held by the Saturday Metro League. It is an annual event contested for prior to the main season kick off, in 2021 the Nines was opened up to a invitational comp with sides outside the competition entering.
Prior to the creation of the Metro Nines, the Arnold Stehr trophy was contested in a knock out trophy and pre-season competition.
