The British are Coming!

The touring British Marines Rugby League team play the NSW Tertiary Student Representative Team at New Era Stadium, Cabramatta, Monday night 30 June 2014. The match will kick off at 7.00pm.
It will be the British Marines team’s second match of a three match tour, the first will be against Renown A Grade on 26 June and the third against the Royal Australian Navy side at Henson park on 4 July.
However, the match will serve as a warm up game for the NSW team as it prepares for its annual clash with the Universities Rugby League Queensland (URLQ) Residents team on 12 July in Coffs Harbour.
Like the NSW Tertiary Student team, the URLQ Residents side is selected from players participating in the inter-collegiate competition in Queensland and last year the clash between the two representative teams was played in Tonga, with Queensland the victors.
Finances permitting, it is proposed to take the match each year to a different locations, especially developing areas of the game both on the mainland and overseas.
