Round 10 brings plenty of interesting games, especially the top of the table 1st Division clash at Middleton Park, where Sydney Trains host UTS Tigers in both divisions. Trains lead the table in 1st Division but a win to the Tigers will see them jump into top spot. In 2nds the Trains, coming off a big win last round will prove tough opposition for a Tigers team backing up from a big loss last week.
Norwest Polecats teams split this round with the 1sts traveling to Canberra to face the ADFA Knights at Addison Oval while their 2nds clash with UWS Ducks at Bankstown Campus. The Knights 1sts have struggled to find form this season, but at home and with their 2nds having the bye they should have plenty of support against a Polecats side brimming with confidence after taking out Sydney Uni last round. Notwithstanding their strong win last week, with their club’s resources divided between to cities, the Polecats 2nds will find the going tough against comp. leaders UWS Ducks.
Sydney Uni Lions find themselves in a similar position to the Polecats, with their 1sts staying in town to play the Cumberland Beavers at Ollie Webb and their 2nds making the trip down the Hume to play ANU Grizzlies at Raiders Belconnen. It proved a hard day at the office for both Lions teams last week and it doesn’t get any easier for them this round, with the Beavers 1sts improving with every match and ANU on a purple patch with four wins on the trot in 2nd Division.
