Represent your State in 2010!

The New South Wales Tertiary Student Rugby League (NSWTSRL) has officially opened applications for the 2010 NSW Tertiary Students Open Representative Team and is inviting any current Rugby League players who attend University, TAFE or any other Tertiary institute to register.

The team, which is an officially recognised NSW representative side, will trial on April 18 at a Norford Park Sefton, before taking on the Queensland Students side in an inter-state encounter which will be held at North Sydney Oval on 22 May 2010.

From this interstate clash, an Australian Students side will be selected to take part in the Australian Universities representative squad to tour of France and the UK in November 2010.

As with all NSWTSRL and AURL representative teams, participation is on a self-funded basis. In this regard, whilst cost for participation in both the NSW Open team and AURL team have yet to be finalised, it is estimated that participants will be levied around $820 for the NSW team and $5300 for the AURL team.

Players from any competition within NSW are eligible for the side provided they are completing at least 8 hrs worth of tertiary education each week.
