The Norwest Polecats have claimed the 2008 NSW Tertiary
League First Division Minor Premiership for the first time since 2005.
Despite 2008 being listed as a rebuilding year for the club
after a significant turn over of players in the past three seasons, the club
hit form far earlier than expected to have an undefeated start for the first
five rounds.
The club continued their strong form afterwards, and even
though the side has been severely hurt by injuries, particularly in the later
half of the year, the determination of the team ensured that it took out the
first honours of the club season.
