Newcastle take out Second Division Minor Premiership

The Newcastle University Seahorses have rocketed up the NSW
Tertiary League Second Division ladder to claim the minor premiership,
recording only two losses throughout the season and sending out the warning
signs to the rest of the competition on the eve of the finals.

The Seahorses, who kicked off two weeks later than the rest
of the competition due to some unfortunate logistical issues, floated through
the Second Division season under the radar for the most of it with the ladder
not truly reflecting how well the team was going.

A professional and determined outfit, the Newcastle based side are rightfully
favourites for the upcoming Final Series.
