The annual City Vs Country match will played at the historic North Sydney Oval on Saturday 16 May 2015, kick off 1.00pm.
Team Officials are as follows:
City (Officials and players selected from ACU, Cumberland College, Sydney Uni & UTS)
Coach: Matt Olsen, Manager: Edie George, Trainers (2): TBA
Country (Officials and players selected from Norwest, Uni of Canberra and UWS)
Coach – Dan Jackson, Manager – Rob Weisback, Trainers: Peter Lamey & TBA
Trainers positions (2 for City, 1 for Country) are still open for nomination and any interested person with the necessary qualifications should email mdowel@hotmail.com with their request to be considered.
Team selection will take place “on paper” on Monday night 4 May prior to the League’s Monthly General Meeting. To be eligible players must be registered with a club in the Tertiary Students Competitions as at 16 May and have played at least 2 competition games this season.
The match will be used as a guide for selection of the representative team to tour to Canada in July.
Players interested in being considered for selection should let their coach/club representative know so they can ensure they will be considered at Monday night’s selection meeting
