The annual City Vs Country match is being played at Brookvale Oval on Saturday 10 May 2014 and it looks like fortune favours the City team who boast a strong representation of players from the three form teams of the 1st Division Competition, Sydney Rail, Sydney University and UTS. Country on the other hand will miss the presence of ADFA players, who unfortunately were unavailable for selection.
Nevertheless, the match traditionally produces some great footy and the results over the years have always gone to the wire. Plus all players will be out impress as the match will be used as a guide for the selection of the NSW Tertiary Team to play the visiting British Marines team on 27 June and the Queensland Tertiary team in Coffs Harbour on 12 July
