Season 2009 sees the New South Wales Tertiary Student Rugby
League welcome back one of its former regional clubs, with the University of Canberra to participate in the
competition for the first time since 2001.
The ACT based club will play out of the University of Canberra
facility in Bruce, and joins fellow regional sides, Bathurst
and Newcastle.
Known as the Canberra Cows, the club will play in black and
white, and is currently aiming to play in both the Tertiary Championship (First
Division) and Bill Buckley Memorial Trophy (Second Division).
