A weekend off and everyone is ready to get back into action for Round 9.
Sydney Uni Lions, after a big win last round over the previously undefeated Sydney Trains in 1st Division, travel to Kellyville to play Norwest/Nirimba Polecats in both divisions. Notwithstanding the home ground advantage, it could be a hard day at the office for both Polecats teams with the Lions 1sts and 2nds both in top form.
Plenty of interest at Blackmore Oval where UTS Tigers 1sts, coming off a big win over ADFA last round, clash with a Cumberland College Beavers side full of confidence after its win over the Polecats. In the early match the Tigers 2nds, who had the bye last round, come up against a rampaging ANU Grizzlies side looking to make it three wins on the trot.
The ADFA Knights have a big task ahead of them as they make the trek down the Hume Highway to play Sydney Trains in both divisions at Middleton Park. Despite showing plenty of steel in their defence, the military boys have found it hard to get across the try line and both teams could find the going tough against the Trains.
The UWS Ducks have the 2nd Division bye.
