Round 7 of the NSW Tertiary Rugby League sees all but 1 match played in Sydney this weekend, with 2 games in first’s and 3 in second’s.
First division’s West Sydney Blues will be hosting competition leaders the Norwest Polecats under light at St Mary’s this Saturday. This will be the blues first match since they lost to Sydney Uni in round 4, while the Polecats will be looking to make it 5 wins in a row.
The Canberra Cows will be heading up the Hume a little early than normal when the take on UTS at Leichhardt Oval this week. Both teams will be desperate for the win, as they sit equal last on the table.
Second division sees Railcorp playing Norwest at St Mary’s. Railcorp and Norwest will be looking to turn their seasons around after narrow loses in the past weeks. While at Leichhardt UTS will be hoping that the home ground advantage is enough to help them claim their first win of the season when they take on the Canberra Cows. The last match of the round sees Bathurst drive the 3 ½ hours to square off against ANU.
While Sydney Uni, Cumberland, Bathurst 1st’s, Newcastle and Lewisham all have the week off.
