Round 5 kicks off on Saturday 8 May with 3 games in both divisions and plenty of interest in both competitions.
The Cumberland Beavers are undefeated in both grades so far this season and its 1st Division team will host the Nirimba/Norwest Polecats at Ollie Webb Reserve. The game is arguably the match of the round with the added interest of the Beavers defending the John McMartin Challenge Shield for the first time since securing it from the UTS Tigers last week, even the man the shield is named after will be there to catch all the action. Both clubs have a bye in 2nd Division.
Plenty of interest out at St Marys where the West Sydney Blues clash with Lewisham Old Boys/ACU, the Blues smarting from their first loss of the season last week to Sydney Uni and Lewisham looking to get its first win on the board.
The CSU Bathurst Mungoes head to Canberra for a big weekend, which at some stage will feature a couple of games of footy against Canberra Uni. The Cows always put on a good show for their visitors and this Saturday promises plenty.
Two stand alone 2nd Division games complete the round with RailCorp hosting the ANU Grizzlies at Norford Park and the UTS Tigers heading up the F3 to play Newcastle Uni at Waratah Park.
Sydney Uni has a bye in both grades.
