Some interesting games in both divisions in Round 4.
The undefeated Sydney Trains 1st Division side make the short trip to Blackmore Oval for its clash with the UTS Tigers in what is shaping as the match of the round. The Tigers, after a close win over the Beavers last week, will be looking to put a stop to the reigning premiers run, no easy task! The 2nd Division match will be an opportunity for the home team to get its first win of the season, but again with their close win last week over ADFA will see the Sydney Train side go into this match with plenty of confidence.
Henson Park will host another great couple of games with Sydney Uni playing Cumberland Beavers in 1st Division and ANU Grizzlies in 2nd Division. After early weather disruption to their programme, the Beavers have missed narrowly in both their matches and although the Scholars have been impressive in their games so far, another tight match is on the cards. Plenty of interest too in the 2nd Division clash, the Grizzlies coming off a big mid week win over ADFA, but they may find backing up so soon a hard task to try and stop Uni’s undefeated run.
At the time of writing a call of duty may prevent the ADFA boys from making the trip to Kellyville, placing doubt over their games against Norwest Polecats in 1st Division and UWS Ducks in 2nd Division. We will keep our fingers crossed the games can go ahead. The Polecats have the bye in 2nd Division.
