The penultimate week of the season is upon us and 4 sides will battle it out this Saturday at Norford Park for a Grand Final berth next week.
1st Division Minor Premiers Norwest/Nirimba Polecats clash with Sydney Uni at 3.00pm, both sides limping into the finals with a big injury toll. The Polecats went down narrowly to West Sydney Blues last week whilst SU scored a big win over a strongly fancied Lewisham Old Boys/ACU side. The result may depend on which team has come out of last week the healthiest, but the match is sure to go down to the wire.
At 1.30pm defending 2nd Division Premiers CSU Bathurst Mungoes are up against the ANU Grizzlies, the real dark horse of the series. The Grizzlies have impressed in their inaugural season, however, the Mungoes have the finals experience that might just be enough to carry the day. Either way the match is set to be just as close as the 1st Division game to follow.
The winners will earn a place at McCredie Oval Guildford on 11 September, 1st Division against West Sydney Blues and 2nd Division against Cumberland College Beavers.
